Chain Figure
Posted on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at 4:15 pmi got a new biek chain for my BMX but i cant figure out how to put it on?
Loosen the axle nuts on the back rim.
Slide it forward to where the chain will come off the sprocket.
Then slide the rim back and off the frame.
The chain should be loose at this point.
Remove the old chain and install the new one.
Then reverse the procedure for reinstalling the rim.
Leave a bit of slack in the chain though (you should be able to move the chain about a inch or so up and down midway between the sprockets).
